Variable Rate Notice

Thank you for participating in the Gas Customer Choice Program and for choosing Michigan Gas & Electric as your Alternative Gas Supplier (AGS). This is a reminder that if your fixed rate contract has expired, since the expiration of your fixed rate contract, you have been paying Michigan Gas & Electric’s variable rate (which may change monthly) on a month to month basis (with no expiration) which is cancellable at any time without penalty. 

With the winter heating season fast approaching, we wanted to give you the opportunity to enroll in one of our fixed rate contracts. We are currently offering fixed rate plans – please visit MIGandE.com and enter your zip codes to view the plans available in your area. If you choose to do nothing, we will continue to bill you at a variable rate each month until you enroll into a new contract or cancel service. There is no fee or penalty for cancelling during the month to month variable rate continuation period per your contract terms and conditions.
